Thankyou for all you do. I have one of these beutifull mustangs. She freezes every time she hears a helicopter :( She is such a proud and personable girl. It’s sad what she has been through.

Well done, Madelaine, I have horses of my own and cannot believe in this day and age that this happens, especially in a country that holds itself up as the epitome of democracy and freedom.
Keep up the great work and I hope that you will get all our voices, horsey and human heard.

The wild horse advocates in Las Vegas agree that your eco-tourism/sanctuary project is a logical alternative to the deadly roundups. I hope the BLM is co-operating with you to get this project done before it’s too late. Keep on them Madeleine, if anyone can get through to the BLM, it’s you!

Dear Madeleine,
I have loved horses since I was big enough to ride them on my own. I think that the work that you and your team are doing to save America’s Mustangs in phenomenal; thank you for taking up the charge against these brutal roundups and quite frankly, from my understanding of it, totally unnecessary. I do feel quite strongly that the Bureau of Land Management has ulterior motives for there presumed concern about the welfare of our Mustangs. I don’t believe for an instant that this bureau, maintained by taxpayers, has any of our wild animals in the crosshairs of their heartstrings. The roundups show me that they do not care for our Mustang’s, that’s for certain. Thank you so much for all your time, your efforts, and your finances that you commit to this very noble of causes. The Mustangs will someday soon be completely protected. I totally believe this.

I too have had horses for most of my life. I have written numerous email letters to the President and my Congressmen. I must credit Rep. Kanjorski, Pa. for helping to pass the ROAM Act in the House. I too find it disheartening that few politicians are listening to the people and allowing the cruel round ups to continue. I am also concerned that the horses being held will eventually be sent to slaughter, because of the high numbers that are captive. I hope that we can get the word out to save these horses who are a part of our history.

Thank you so much for all that you are doing. I am doing everything I can from here to get the word out. I write my senators and reps. I donate to rescue horses from slaughter, I tell friends, I post and share on FB. It is just so disheartening that this is still going on and no one will stop it. I have nightmares thinking of those poor horses and all the ones that are getting shipped to slaughter from auctions each week as well.
It must stop. I am praying that somehow it will…God Bless you!

Keep up the great work Madeleine. What is happening to our horses and burros is breaking my heart. Everynight I sit and do my activism and try and save horses from slaughter buy donating some funds so they can make bail. What a sad state of affairs. Some human beings are just horrible people. Thank you so much for being a leader!

I am sorry for this sad comment. I have signed and sent letters to everyone in office and of any power. I have lost my spirit, my love for man and country and have laid down in loss. I am half breed Cheyenne and have always had a connection to horses and my soul. Being 58 as I enter the last part of my life it pains me to see mankind so hatefull, so cruel. Nature always takes care of themselves. To get if fouled up man must take over. I will not see them run free again. I being too old to go camping with my college professor and watch the wild herds. I look at my one mustang that I have and love him very much but can not look into his eyes anymore without sadness. If you prevail you will be forever in my heart.
